Build a Better World for Women and Girls
2025 Cancel Out event was a success!
This year’s Cancel Out event was a coming together of so many different backgrounds and faiths and lifestyles. For one purpose. To bring awareness, and to combat, domestic violence.
We all met at the amazingly beautiful CFD Event Center for a scrumptious meal, fun bottle grab, thought– provoking speaker, emotion–evoking presentation of What Was She Wearing, and fellowship with friends, new and old.
We had amazing sponsors, donors, and bidders who helped us raise over $30,000! The funds will be spread across Zonta International, the Cheyenne Zonta Foundation, the education fund for our Zonta Club of Cheyenne, and some much–needed improvements to Cheyenne’s Safehouse.
Thank you, so much, to everyone who attended, donated silent and live auction items, sponsored tables, purchased tickets and purchased bottles from the bottle grab, purchased auction items, and helped with set up and tear down! You are continuing to help us make the world a better place for women and girls.
Special thank you to our event photographer, Blue Sage Photography.
Zonta’s 2024 night out was once again SOLD OUT!
Zonta’s annual fundraising event, Cancel Out Human Trafficking, took place on March 8, 2024. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. We look forward to seeing you all again next March!
The 2024 event featured presentations from Uprising, a non-profit organization based in Sheridan, WY. Here’s their mission:
Uprising is not just an organization, it’s a movement. We believe that the exploitation of even one person is too much and we’re working tirelessly to shine a light on how this is happening, even in Wyoming. We do this by confronting human trafficking and exploitation through awareness, education, and outreach. Since our establishment in 2019, we have educated and trained approximately 12,000 professionals, parents, youth, and community members. Our goal being to strengthen community-wide safety nets that help to prevent trafficking from happening in the first place, and to identify and respond to trafficking that is already happening in our state. Uprising is a survivor-led, and youth-focused organization.
Thank you to Uprising for joining us.
